Courtney and Raven had been friends for years, ever since they met in college. They had bonded over their love for fashion and beauty, spending countless hours discussing the latest trends and trying out new makeup looks. Today, they were on their way to a fashion show in Paris, and had some time to kill before their flight.
As they sat in the airport lounge, Courtney pulled out a bottle of bright pink nail polish and suggested that they paint each other's nails. Raven agreed, and they set to work, chatting and laughing as they painted.
As they worked, Raven began to tell Courtney about her favorite beauty trick - using her hands to draw attention to her face. "I have to admit, I love my big hands," she said with a smile. "People always notice them, and it makes me feel powerful."
Courtney was intrigued. She had never thought about hands in that way before. "Do you really think people notice them that much?" she asked.
"Oh, absolutely," Raven replied. "Just watch - I'll show you." She lifted her hands to her face and swept her hair back, revealing her long, elegant fingers. "See?" she said with a grin. "People can't help but look."
Courtney nodded, impressed. She had never thought about the impact that hands could have on a person's appearance. "I never really thought about my hands that much," she admitted. "They're just kind of there."
Raven looked at Courtney's hands, noticing for the first time that they were quite large for her petite frame. "Actually, your hands are pretty big too," she said. "I wonder what they would look like up against mine."
Courtney looked a bit nervous, but Raven was already holding out her hands, palms up. "Here, let's compare," she said.
Courtney hesitated for a moment, then tentatively placed her hands against Raven's. To her surprise, she realized that Raven's hands were actually smaller than hers. Courtney's palms were large and muscular, and even her fingers were longer than Raven's.
Raven felt a pang of jealousy as she looked at Courtney's hands. She had always prided herself on her elegant fingers, but now she couldn't help feeling a bit envious of Courtney's strength and power. But she tried to hide it, not wanting to ruin their fun afternoon.
After a few moments of comparison, Raven and Courtney decided to paint each other's nails. They pulled out their nail polish bags and started to carefully choose their colors. Raven went for a bold red shade, while Courtney opted for a light pink.
As they began to paint each other's nails, Raven couldn't help but think about the comparison of their hands. She had always thought that her hands were one of her best features, but seeing Courtney's gigantic palms had left her feeling a bit insecure. She decided to change the subject, not wanting to dwell on her jealousy.
After they finished their manicures, they decided to grab a snack at one of the airport's cafes. As they walked through the terminal, Raven couldn't help but notice how people looked at her hands. She had always been aware of their size, but now she realized that they were truly something that stood out.
Courtney noticed Raven's preoccupation with her hands and decided to change the subject. She pulled out a small bag of goldfish crackers from her bag and offered them to Raven. Raven looked at all the goldfish crackers in Courtney's open palm, there were a lot.
"Want some?" Courtney asked, holding out the bag.
Raven hesitated for a moment, then took a handful of crackers. She popped them into her mouth and chewed thoughtfully.
"You know what's weird?" she said, as she swallowed the last of the crackers. "Whenever I eat goldfish crackers, I feel like they're watching me."
Courtney laughed. "What do you mean?"
"I don't know. They just have these little eyes and they're all staring at me. It's creepy."
Courtney chuckled. "I never thought of it that way."
They continued walking through the airport, munching on their snacks and chatting about their plans for the future. As they approached their gate, they saw that the flight was delayed for several hours. Raven groaned in frustration.
"What are we going to do for all that time?" she asked.
Courtney shrugged. "We could play a game or something."
Raven brightened up at the suggestion. "Ooh, let's play Truth or Dare."
Courtney raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you want to play that? You know I always come up with crazy dares."
Raven grinned. "That's exactly why I want to play."
They found a quiet corner of the airport and settled down to play their game. Raven went first and chose "truth."
"Okay, Raven," Courtney said, leaning in. "What's your biggest secret?"
Raven hesitated for a moment, her mind racing as she tried to think of something to say. She had always been a private person, and there were very few things that she kept hidden from her friends. But then, an idea popped into her head.
"One of my biggest secrets is that I love the feeling of comparing hands with people and making them feel little," she admitted, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "I'm not sure why I like to do it so much, but it just feels... powerful, you know?"
Courtney's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, I did not see that one coming. But I can kind of see why you would enjoy that. I mean, your hands are pretty amazing."
Raven grinned sheepishly. They continued to play the game.
"Okay, I dare you to go up to a random stranger and compare hands with them," Courtney said with a mischievous glint in her eye.
Raven's heart skipped a beat at the thought of approaching a stranger, but she knew she couldn't back down from a dare. She stood up from their table and scanned the nearby crowds, looking for someone who might be willing to play along.
After a few minutes of searching, she spotted a tall young woman sitting by herself at a nearby cafe. Raven walked over to her and introduced herself.
"Hi, I'm Raven. I know this might sound weird, but I was wondering if we could compare hands. It's just something my friend and I do for fun," she explained, holding out her own hand.
The woman looked a bit taken aback but seemed amused by the request. She held out her own hand, and Raven placed hers against it. To her surprise, the woman's hand was almost as big as hers, and her fingers were even longer.
Raven felt a surge of excitement as she compared their hands, relishing the feeling of superiority that came with it. She thanked the woman and returned to Courtney, grinning from ear to ear.
"That was amazing!" she exclaimed. "Her hands were almost as big as mine!"
Courtney laughed. "I knew you could do it. You're a natural at this game."
As they continued to play, Raven found herself becoming more and more bold in her dares. She convinced Courtney to do a handstand in the middle of the terminal, and even convinced a group of strangers to join them in a game of truth or dare.
Raven grinned, feeling a rush of adrenaline from her daring act. She was starting to feel like her big hands were her superpower, something that made her stand out in a crowd.
They continued to play the game, with Courtney daring Raven to do increasingly outrageous things. Raven found it thrilling to push herself out of her comfort zone, to see just how far she could go.
But eventually, Raven thought it would be good to get Courtney back with a dare. She looked around the airport, searching for someone who would be a good challenge for Courtney. Her eyes fell on a man sitting at a nearby table, his hands resting on his knees.
"That guy," Raven said, nodding towards him. "I dare you to compare hands with him."
Courtney looked over at the man, then back at Raven. "Are you serious? He looks huge!"
Raven grinned. "Come on, it's just a game. You can do it."
Courtney took a deep breath and walked over to the man's table. She explained the game to him and asked if he would be willing to compare hands with her. He looked a bit confused but ultimately agreed.
As they pressed their hands together, Raven watched intently. She couldn't help feeling a twinge of jealousy as she saw how Courtney's hand seemed to fit perfectly against the man's, how her fingers were just as long as his.
But then Courtney turned to her with a huge smile on her face. "That was awesome! His hands were huge!"
Raven laughed, relieved that her friend had enjoyed the dare. They continued to play the game, daring each other to do increasingly ridiculous things, until it was time for their flight.
As they boarded the plane, Raven couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had shown Courtney just how powerful her hands could be, how they could make people feel small and insignificant. It was a feeling she couldn't get enough of.
